hyperCAD®-S Deformation

Targeted Deformation of Geometries

This powerful Deformation module allows the CAM user to modify global and local component areas in a way that would be very costly using traditional modeling techniques. It can be used in diverse applications such as sheet metal tooling and turbine blades. For sheet metal tasks, the springback effect is the over-bending of the component, resulting in inconsistent sheet metal component precision.

Module features

Creating complex geometries

Another possible use involves projecting contours such as logos and lettering onto specific surfaces. Here, selected elements such as faces, curves, points, point clouds and meshes are deformed volumetrically onto a target face.
