hyperMILL® for Autodesk® Inventor® fulfills the certification criteria of Autodesk and therefore guarantees the highest level of quality, inter-operability and compatibility. Strict guidelines ensure that a seamless exchange of data takes place between Autodesk® Inventor® and hyperMILL®.
Familiar interface
Thanks to the CAD integration, the CAM product takes on the ‘look and feel’ of the CAD interface. The full-scale integration provides all 2.5D, 3D, HSC/HPC and 5-axis milling as well as turning strategies within this environment. The user does not need to leave their familiar environment. hyperMILL® can be conveniently accessed via a tab. The user can switch freely between the CAD and CAM systems at all times.
Single database
Continuous processes with standardized data models guarantee security and transparency throughout the entire manufacturing process, from design and programming right through to the simulation stage. This prevents data import problems as well as read/write errors.
Using geometric features
The feature technology provided by hyperMILL® allows the geometry information available in Autodesk® Inventor® to be used for CAM programming. For example, the automatic feature recognition identifies holes and pockets on solid and face models. Furthermore, machining strategies and tools can be linked with features in technology macros and saved in a technology database.
